Emil Mielke was born in Słońsk on 18 January 1893. From 1912 till 1945 he worked as a teacher in his home village.

In this chronicle his gives a detailed description of the changing history of Słońsk, one of the oldest German villages in Central Poland.

The document was published in 1972 by the "Ostdeutschen Forschungsstelle im Lande Nordrhein-Westfalen".
