Lutheran Parishes

Genealogical research depends very much on Church Books where names and dates are put down. But which Church Books existed and which village belonged to which parish and when?

Since most of the German settlers were Lutherans, the following pages show the structure, the founding dates and the history of some of the parishes of the Lutheran Diocese Płock.

Many of the Church Books for the here mentioned Lutheran parishes still exist in Polish or German archives. Most of them have been filmed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) and can be viewed in one of their Family Search Centers.
