Objectives

UpstreamVistula.org is an independent non-profit organization.

Our goal is to collect and give free access to historic, genealogical and other interesting information relating the ethnic Germans of Central Poland.

Essential part of our objectives is to initiate und to support cross-border projects which try to research and transmit our common cultural heritage.

We understand that the research of German-Polish history should be a part of an open European dialog.

We disapprove of any organization, society or website with the tendency of hindering this desirable and necessary dialog.
