Cmentarze Results |

The Cmentarze Project is going on now since spring 2005. The number of covered cemeteries grew rapidly. Due to people who contributed information about various new areas, the region of the project has also grown. For a distinct cemetery you usually will find a description and pictures of the cemetery and of monuments which we found there. |

We also tried to collect inscriptions, coordinates, descriptions how to reach the cemetery and historic information. We tried to arrange our results in a way which makes it easy to find a specific cemetery, all cemeteries in a region or a possible connection to a family name. However we can only show the information that we already have. The project is going on and more results will be found as our work continues. |

As a little help to imagine how the old cemeteries might have looked, we created a little Style Guide for the cemeteries. Some general Observations which we made during our work on site are listed here as a kind of by-product of the project. Find the current results of the project using the overview of the Locations or using the Index with some sort and search functions. |
