On the old Polish maps there is a cemetery marked in the area of Jesionka. Today this place is located at an intersection of sandy forest lanes among the vast pine wood. A group of oak trees points to a special place at the intersection. Between the oaks there is an iron cross and some bricks have been collected at the foot of the cross. The area seems to be too small for a cemetery. It might be the place of a single grave or a memorial. It needs more research to find out the meaning of this special place.
