The old Lutheran cemetery of Silno is located in a small forest east of the road which links Silno and Grabowiec. There are many grave borders and fragments of monuments. In the summer of 2008, the cemetery was very good to access and in a neat condition. The cemetery is maintained by students and teachers of the John Paul II School in Obrowo. I am delighted that there are engaged teachers, like Maciej Bandrowski, who are committed to the preservation of cemeteries.
Photos and other contributions for the documentation of this cemetery were provided by: Jutta Dennerlein.

Ladies and Gentlemen!
Students of the School John Paul II in Obrowo who took part in the project "Traces of the past - students adopt monuments", decided to organize and take care of the Lutheran cemetery in Silno.
It is our intention to restore and preserve for posterity the history of this place of worship.
