In the Eastern part of Płock there is a military cemetery for soldiers killed in action in the years 1914 till 1939. The cemetery is well groomed and shaded by old trees. Besides numerous white crosses there are also bigger stone graves with Polish and Russian inscriptions. At the East side there is a big monument and several graves for German soldiers killed in 1915.
Photos and other contributions for the documentation of this cemetery were provided by: Jutta Dennerlein.
