The "Slownik Geograficzny Krolestwa Polskiego" mentioned in the year 1880 for the small town Bieżuń a Protestant chapel (Bethaus). Still, I was skeptical when I was told by Tomasz that a Lutheran cemetery existed in Bieżuń. The place where the cemetery had been situated is directly opposite the large Catholic cemetery at Zawidzka street. A small triangular lawn area, three or four old trees, some stones sunken in the grass. Not more could be found in the summer of 2010. Adjacent to the small grassy area, there is a large gravel covered square which is now used to store sand and earth. Enough space for a cemetery.
Photos and other contributions for the documentation of this cemetery were provided by: Tomasz Kowalski, Jutta Dennerlein.
