The old Lutheran cemetery of Powsino is located at the side of a brook that feeds the river Brzeźnicą. Today the cemetery is situated between the outskirts of Płock and the Płock oil refinery. The places Powsino and Kolonja Chełpowo have disappeared but some fragments of the cemetery can still be found.
It was a nice day at the end of may when Maciek Barciński explored the area at the river Brzeźnicą together with his son. They had been looking for the cemetery for about an hour and were about to give up their search. On their way back the sight and the scent of lilacs in blossom caught their attention and finally led them to what they were looking for.
There is also some historic information about this cemetery.
