The cemetery of Grochale Nowe

The cemetery which is marked on the old Polish maps, should be found near the old embankment of the Vistula. But at first sight the place shows nothing which would point to a cemetery. In the meadow there is a huge poplar surrounded by some bushes. The tree is unusual since it seems that 4-5 trunks are coming out of one spot. A bit west of this tree there seems to be a Wurte and some unusual plants show that there must have been a house. It might be that the cemetery has become a victim of the reenforcement of the flood wall. Further research is necessary.
