The Jewish cemetery of Gąbin is located directly west of the local main cemetery. The area is fenced in by a high iron fence. Two openings allow the local people a shortcut to the local cemetery. There are only few gravestones left. As on many other Jewish cemeteries the gravestones have been removed during the Nazi occupation. They were misused for road construction. In the southern part of the cemetery a monument has been created from some of the graves stones which could be found again.
Photos and other contributions for the documentation of this cemetery were provided by: Jutta Dennerlein.
