The cemetery of Wiączemin Nowy is located near the old Lutheran church of Wiączemin Nowy. Both can be found in the middle of the fields between Wiączemin Nowy and Wiączemin Polski by following the sight of the church from the east.
The cemetery has been cleared a few years ago as the result of an operation initiated by the couple Eva and Peter Stratenwerth from Grzybów.
There is a good number of gravestones and legible inscriptions to be found.
In 2007 Annegret Krause had visited the cemetery again. She writes:
”The clearing action of the cemetery in 2004 did more harm than benefit. The lilac, which had brought shadow to the cemetery had been eliminated and now Stinging Nettles, Blackberries and Late Goldenrod could spread unhindered. The effect is, that less gravemarkers can be found than before.
In addition, the lilac had also served as a landmark for the cemetery, which is now missing.”
