Amidst the forest north of Stare Budy there is a small military cemetery located at an intersection of two forest lanes. Polish soldiers who were killed at the beginning of WW II in September 1939 are buried here. The well maintained small area within the fence shows four grave fields. The fields are marked by cement crosses and white name plates for 8-10 soldiers each. As on many other Polish military cemeteries the many German sounding names among the Polish soldiers catch the attention.
