The old Mennonite cemetery in Wielka Nieszawka is situated at a small road that leads north out of the village. The cemetery is located next to Kanał Nieszawski. In the flat landscape of the left bank of the Vistula near Torun, the cemetery appears as a delimited area covered with tall trees. The leafless trees in February 2009 allowed to recognize that the cemetery is located on an artificial hill. The edges of the hill have been fixed long ago by the planting of oak trees. Some of these ancient oaks today still surrounded the cemetery. There are many grave borders and relatively small fragments of grave stones to be found. The few recognizable inscriptions contain almost all the family name Heise.
