The cemetery of Gnojno seems to be located in the central part of the village that consists of widely spread isolated farms. The cemetery is situated on a small elevation at the intersection of several country roads. Huge trees (oaks) show the size of the cemetery. The area is only slightly overgrown by Lilac and easily accessible. Besides the widespread Lilly of the Valley the north west corner of the cemetery shows a significant amount of House Leeks (Sempervivum tectorum). A very suitable plant for this very dry cemetery. I never before came across House Leeks at one of the old cemeteries - probably it has been planted only recently.
In the center of the cemetery the big wooden cemetery cross is lying on the ground. There are several grave borders, lying gravestones and stone slabs with inscriptions.
